Build-A-Better-Athlete Training

Coach Terry Gillette is currently the Linebackers/Rovers coach at Eau Claire High School and President of the Metro Commandos AAU basketball club. He has coached and mentored youth athletes in North and South Carolina since 2010; coaching several seasons in Pop Warner football, middle school football, high school football, high school basketball, and AAU basketball. Working with athletes from age 5 and he has experience teaching the basics to beginners as well as enhancing the skills for the more advanced athletes. The goal is to help your youth athlete develop the individual skills that will allow them to flourish playing while playing within the team concept in their sport.

He understands that parents want to do everything possible to help their youth athlete pursue their passion of sports and turn their dreams into reality; this is why his training services are more reasonably priced than many other training services available. After the initial assessment, each subsequent session is tailored to help your child reach his/her individual potential. By offering mobile training services, this allows the parents to save time and expenses; also he feels that athletes often perform better in familiar environments.

Playing sports from the age of 8 through college, Coach Terry understands the importance of an active lifestyle for children and teaches basic and advanced moves that can be repeated by the athlete at home outside of the training sessions. Also, being a sports parent of an active son he realizes the need for the athlete to have access to additional services that will enhance their skills and provide a different perspective from an outside coach/trainer. The Build-A-Better-Athlete Training program was designed to help your youth athlete develop into the best possible version of themselves. Remember...it takes work from all 3 parties for this to succeed: the trainer, the athlete and the parents. Once training begins, we are a TEAM and must work accordingly to achieve maximum results. These sessions will instill the values of discipline, hard work and perseverance which will help the athlete achieve in life, long after their playing days are over.
